Actually, one hasn't. I'm singularly impressed with how the list has handled that hand grenade.
hawkegirl had posted an announcement of a meeting at Cassandra BvB's to study period butchery of rabbits, and roaming posted back an extremely hot indictment of slaughtering just to "play in the way-back machine".
I assume they plan to eat the rabbit, so it would hardly qualify as "just to play in the way-back machine". Now if they plan to waste the meat, I can see being upset about that....
Certianly don't come if you're not feeling up for it. Know however you do not even have to be with the group for any parts of the process you don't want to be. You can pick and choose what you want to see and be part of. (I can totally understand though if you don't even want to be around it. My husband won't be!).
