[livejournal.com profile] cosmicgarden and I voted at Temple Shalom in Medford this morning. I hope we're going to make a tradition of voting together as a family.

It was very busy, but there was no delay. We were out by 8:30. I noticed the count on the machine registered 319 when I slid my ballot in. Not bad for the first 90 minutes.

If you don't know where to vote in MA, go here:

As others have noted, Carl Sciortino is not running unopposed. If you support Sciortino over Ciampa, mark that box. Ciampa's sticker campaign is well funded, and write-in elections sometimes succeed.

For more information on this race, see this article in the the Boston Globe.

BTW: Carl Sciortino is not up for election as my State Representative. If he were, I would have voted for him.

[livejournal.com profile] dsrtao and I always vote as a family. For the last couple of primaries/elections (since he was born), we've brought Z as well. He rides in a backpack on daddy, and the poll workers always remember us now because of Z smiling at everyone.
