[Carolingia] Sir Patri du Chat Gris

I am sorry to have to report that Sir Patri du Chat Gris, OL, OP and many other awards as well, mundanely known as Patri Pugliese, passed away today February 11, 2007, at about 5 pm. He had lived with liver cancer for some time now.

His wife, Barbara Pugliese, asked me to post this notice and to announce that she and her daughters, Antonia and Julia, will be at home the next couple of evenings; people are welcome to visit then.

There are not yet firm plans for a memorial service, but it will probably be in a few weeks. I will post more information when I get it from Barbara.

Having lost my own mother to cancer, I can only imagine how the family feels about losing their husband and father. I also feel sad for the loss to the Barony of Carolignia, the SCA and all the other communities Patri influenced. He will be sorely missed.
